[Bloodlines in warmblood horse breeding]
It is the aim of warmbloodlines.com to show the bloodlines which are found in warmblood breeding. WBL is supposed to be a database of those stallions who are or have been active within primarily european warmblood breeding. This includes stallions, who are approved by a typical warmblood breeding association, but also selected stallions, who have been used to add other values. Therefore you will find a certain amount of thoroughbreds, arabians and anglo arabians, without those being a complete group for themselves.
You can follow the bloodlines by following links from sire to sire or dams. All horses link to their own pedigree with four generations. A number of horses hold a "dead end" position, while there is being searched for their data. To avoid you getting "stuck" on those pages, you will on the bottom of each page find a link not only to this horse's approved sons, but also to those stallions, in whose pedigree this horse appears on the dams side.
From 1.3.2008 there will be asked a fee for subscription, valid for one month (DKK 60), three months (DKK 120) or one year (DKK 350). 1€ equals 7,45 DKK (Danish Crown). Before subscribing, you have through the alphabetical and chronological search pages the possibility to see if the horse, that you are looking for, is to be found at WBL.
The horse's pages contain no text, therefore please read this short explanation before searching stallions.
